Since its first edition The Others’ goal has been to attract a young audience by abandoning traditional schemes and barriers in order to reduce the distance between the visitors and the artistic proposals.

The peculiarity of its format – evening opening hours, a program of transdisciplinary side events merging performing arts, music, dance, theatre, literature and food – make The Others a welcoming place and a meeting point for young people during Torino’s contemporary art week.

The use of dismissed, unusual venues, such as the former Prison Le Nuove, the old Stock Exchange Palace and The Former Hospital Maria Adelaide has always characterized The Others since its first edition.
